Travel: Samed Island, Thailand

Summer has finally arrived, and what better way to spend it than on a tropical island paradise? For us, Koh Samed, the most accessible island from Bangkok, was the perfect destination.

Located in the Gulf of Thailand, just off the coastline of Rayong province, Koh Samed is a breathtakingly beautiful island. We spent several days soaking up the sun and enjoying the stunning views, and of course, I took the opportunity to snap some photos and practice my photography skills.

From the crystal-clear waters to the white sandy beaches, Koh Samed is a true gem of Thailand's eastern seaboard. Here are some of my favorite shots from the trip. (click for a bigger view)
